Course Overview
Master advanced ocular surgery. Learn, practice, and perfect under expert guidance.
The International Advanced Ophthalmology Practical Course offers a comprehensive, hands-on journey through the most delicate and complex areas of veterinary eye surgery. Designed for experienced veterinarians seeking to elevate their surgical precision, this 5-day intensive program covers every essential domain of ocular surgery—from eyelids and conjunctiva to cornea, sclera, lens, and retina.
Led by Dr. Nunzio D'Anna, European College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists (ECVO) Diplomate and internationally recognized expert, this course integrates in-depth lectures with extensive wet-lab sessions, ensuring direct skill transfer and clinical applicability.
Participants will operate in 2-person groups, each with full access to dedicated ophthalmic microscopes, phacoemulsification units, surgical tools, and abundant practice samples—creating the optimal environment for hands-on learning and personalized feedback.
