DVM, PhD, Full Professor at the University of Parma, Head of the Surgery Section
June 15-18 2026 | Shanghai, China
Course Overview
1. Build a Strong Surgical Foundation
Gain a systematic understanding of oncologic staging principles, biopsy techniques, tumor margin assessment, and multimodal treatment planning. This module strengthens clinical reasoning and establishes a standardized, evidence-based surgical approach.
2. Master Sentinel and Regional Lymph Node Mapping & Dissection
Learn the principles of sentinel and regional lymph node mapping, followed by practical training on head and neck, axillary, inguinal, and other key anatomical regions. Participants will develop confident, precise techniques for lymphadenectomy in oncologic patients.
3. Comprehensive Flap and Grafting Techniques
Deep dive into reconstructive options after tumor resection, including local flaps (transposition, rotation), axial pattern flaps, and full-thickness free grafts. Learn how to select and apply the right reconstructive strategy to successfully close challenging surgical defects.
4. High-Intensity, Fully Aligned Wet Lab Training
Hands-on sessions closely integrated with theory. Practice multiple biopsy methods, multi-site lymph node dissections, and various flap and graft reconstruction techniques, ensuring true skill acquisition and surgical confidence.
